I am a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, where I have changed my career focused from the Computer / Software Industry to focus on creating the ultimate Las Vegas experience for his Casino guests, VIP Player, and clients. I am now working for many Las Vegas casino hotel resorts as a outside Casino VIP Host, My responsibilities included international marketing, creating and planning weekends for guests, casino players, and clients as well as promoting and marketing for Vegas Nightclubs — all of which will prepare me nicely for my role as a VIP Casino Executive Host or Director of Player Development in the future. I attended Rutgers University in New Jersey where I obtained my BA in Computer Science. I am also a veteran of the United States Navy, where I served on 3 US Naval warships and completed 3 successful West-Pac deployments.
The great thing about me is that I understand what it is to be a VIP Casino Host and I understand what it is to be a Casino player or a guest; My thought as a VIP Casino Host is to value the player, guest, etc; However, give that individual what they deserve and not more than what they deserve. I am fairly a rookie if in the VIP Casino Host, Player Development, Casino Sales and Marketing, and Nightclub promotions; however, I may be what you call a rookie, but I have been in this industry for over 3 years in Las Vegas, where I have developed more contacts, clients, guest, etc in this city than a person who has worked as a casino host for 10 to 15 years. My well established and well diversified international, young, middle-aged client base speaks for itself. My Casino Host Responsibilities consisted of:
1. I interact and build relationships with VIP Players, “High Rollers, Hotel Guests, and Clients concentrating in the higher denomination zones. I encourage club enrollment
2. I will identify qualified VIP Players, “High Rollers, Hotel Guests, and Clients and meet or exceed a specific number of new enrollments into our Players Club. Our specific quota of new enrollments is determined by management and may fluctuate based on season, occupancy, weekend, weekend, etc. I will always encourage those qualified guests to move their play to higher denomination zones.
3. I will extend complimentary services (COMPS) to our guests within the guidelines established by management.
4. I will monitors casino players activity through use of the on-line system and reports provided by management. I will follow through with the appropriate action using telemarketing or written correspondence.
5. I will assists with the planning and execution of Guest Services parties, promotions, special events and tournaments.
6. I provide valuable feedback to the Management Team on a VIP Players, “High Rollers, preferences and their expectations.
7. I work as a team with slot operations, table games, poker and our Reward’s Club personnel to provide stellar guest relations.
8. I am always actively seeking out potential qualified VIP players outside of the venue and inviting them to become my regular VIP Players, “High Rollers, Hotel Guests, and Clients of the Casino.
9. I will assist the Guest Services Manager with the development of Guest Service Department and with the training/development of new Jr. Casino Hosts.
10. I am responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
