Hotlink protection
Hotlinking is when another website links to files in your website. This is usually done for images and multimedia files. In this case your bandwidth will be used to display those files rather than theirs.
Prevention of hotlinks is one of the security tools available on the cPanel. It also allows you to specify the types of files that other web sites will be allowed to link to (i.e. html files) |
IP deny manager
IP deny manager is another great security tool that the cPanel provides. This allows you to block an IP address, domain name, or a range of IP addresses from entering your web site.
